Our soft belly bands are now available for your small pets or adult dogs for protection against the soiling and staining of your furniture and carpets.
Male belly bands will help make your life and that of your dog a little easier. It is a natural and common thing for male dogs mark their territory inside the house as well as outside. A belly band wraps around the tummy with extra protection in the important area.
The Belly Band has a wide Velcro strip for quick removal when your dog is going outside and it takes only seconds to put back on when your dog comes in. Belly bands are for puppies and older males that experience loss of bladder control.
Our belly bands have an additional inner padding. We use 100% super soft, durable and absorbant HEMP in the important area of the belly band. They are natural colored, with no bleach or harsh chemicals used to make them. Hemp is much more absorbant than your standard cotton insert, which helps to keep your boy dry and are more absorbant than typical cotton inserts for belly bands. Almost twice the liquids can be contained! Cotton inserts can hold between 8 and 12 oz, hemp can hold up 18 ounces. You should still use a incontinent pad as a liner.
Waterproof barrier's will hold heat and become uncomfortable for your little baby. I have found incontinent pads will pull the urine away from the dog's skin and has a urine odor absorber. Most dogs do not like to be wet.
Belly bands are great for training male dogs. Belly bands function like a diaper. Belly bands work by inserting a self adhesive bladder control pad on the inside of the belly band. Velcro fasteners hold the band in place around the dogs belly, covering the important area. Our belly band features velcro closure for maximum adjustability, elastic on the sides to give a better fit and allow for growing room with puppies.
Belly bands are washable and can be reused over and over. Just be sure to attach the Velcro together before washing. I only make up to size large.
Measure from top of back over the important area and back up again. Measure the belly area right above the important area, NOT below in the groin area. Use the sizing below as a guide . If you use the full size liners, you may want to order one size larger. If you need a size not listed please e-mail me and I will see what I can do.
